Harvick reigns at Las Vegas, Patrick 36th after crash

02/27/2010 - Las Vegas, NV (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kevin Harvick overcame a pit road blunder to win Saturday's Sam's Town 300 Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Harvick led the most laps with 83, but a lengthy pit stop early in the race shuffled him back in the field. He took the lead for good when he passed Denny Hamlin just after a restart with 25 laps to go. Harvick recorded his 35th career victory in the series.

Hamlin finished second, while Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski and Brian Vickers completed the top-five.

Danica Patrick crashed just before the half-way point and ended up finishing 36th. Patrick made her last Nationwide start before taking a four-month hiatus to focus on her full-time IndyCar Series schedule. She returns to NASCAR's second-tier series the last weekend in June at New Hampshire.
